# 4. Interactive Storyline

QRdano will host an interactive storyline that will explore new methods for community engagement within a web3 context. This exploration will primarily take place through the QRdano website and will focus on using code-breaking and problem-solving strategies to participate in the story.

Interaction and progression of the storyline began before the mint of the *Pareidolia’s Locations* NFT collection, and was open to all community members. These initial interactive parts of the story are still accessible for all new community members. Interaction with these parts of the story will earn the user [XP](https://qrdano.gitbook.io/qr-paper/5.-xp-system). Participants can engage with the storyline [here](https://qrdano.com/storyline).

Following the mint, only those who own one or more of the *Pareidolia’s Locations* NFTs will be able to participate in the interactive parts of the story.

The overall artistic design, metadata, and symbolism of the *Pareidolia’s Locations* NFT collection not only has meaning, but will impact on the owners’ abilities to interact with the story. Each NFT will contain a **QR code** that will link to a website within our ecosystem that is **unique to that specific NFT**. Owners of these NFTs will have token-gated access to owner-exclusive areas and features of these websites and will use them to interact with the storyline. Launch of these token-gated websites are planned to go live after the *Pareidolia’s Locations* NFT collection sells out.

Due to the pivot required for the QRdano project, the original plans for how the interactive storyline would progress has changed. Several ideas are being considered for how this progression can occur that will remain fun and interactive for the community members, while also being feasible considering the lack of finances the team has to put towards it.&#x20;

One primary approach will be to novelise the story, and integrate access and connectivity of this novel with the NFTs. This will be an activity that will take some time to complete, however we are excited for the possibilities and the continued new ways a story/novel can be integrated within the web3 world!&#x20;
